Tiny Essentials was born one night over dinner between two friends at different life stages—one, a busy mother of two under two, and the other a business owner regularly sourcing baby gifts. Their conversation was rooted in one simple question: how can we make preparing for motherhood a little bit easier?
The mother of two had created a Google Doc filled with baby product recommendations, which she shared with a friend in hopes it would help her prepare for her new baby, too. A few days later, she observed the document’s viral success as more friends (and friends of friends, and their friends’ friends, you get the picture 😉) requested access.
That’s when it hit them: there was an obvious desire for structured, list-formatted information on baby essentials, and together they could fill this gap and give moms access to information they need in a format that's enjoyable. Fast forward a few late nights, early mornings, and countless spreadsheets later: Tiny Essentials came to life.

From stroller toys to nursing bras to nasal aspirators, we provide hundreds of product recommendations for items we found to be absolutely essential when starting a family. Plus, we share our honest feedback about why we love or don’t love something.
