A worthy replacement for coffee drinkers during the first trimester.
We were BIG coffee drinkers prior to pregnancy. However, during the first trimester, coffee was very unappealing due to its bitterness and sharp taste. If you're looking to add a bit of caffeine to your routine as your stomach settles (200-300mg per day is generally considered safe - but discuss with your OB!), consider ordering a matcha latte from your local coffee shop. It was a great way for us to get a little burst of caffeine when coffee was off the table!
